Local Firewood Sales Update

Over the past several years, local interest in the purchase of firewood from Taan Forest has continued to grow.

We recognize the importance of this program for community members who rely on firewood to heat their homes, and we appreciate the ongoing patience and understanding shown as we work through requests.

Due to current harvest levels, there is less wood available for firewood sales.  Taan Forest will continue to fill registered firewood orders where possible. 

Orders will be addressed in the order they were received - with special consideration given to elders and those with the greatest need.

To help us make the best use of the limited supply, we kindly ask anyone who has registered for a load but does not need firewood for home heating purposes this year to contact Taan Forest.
