Forest operations map

Notice is hereby given that Taan Forest is providing review and comment on proposed Operations for TFL 60 and FNWL N1G (The Haida Tenure). 

In accordance with Section 15 of the Forest and Range Practices Amendment Act, Taan Forest is requesting your concerns and comments on the following proposed developments for 2024/2025.

• LOW005

• SHA001

The Forest Operations Maps is available for review and comment at:

• Taan Forest Website www.taanforest.com

• Taan Forest’s office in Skidegate.  Unit #3 Commercial Centre 848 Highway 16 Skidegate BC. Office hours Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm. 

The review and comment period shall commence April 1st, 2024 and last for a period of 30 days.  Comments regarding these proposed operations are welcome and must be received by April 30th, 2024.

Comments can be submitted through the Forest Operations Map website, mailed/dropped off to the Taan Forest Office or via email: FOM@Taanforest.com

This review and comment provides a three-year validity period during which the Forest Operations Map will be relied upon to apply for a cutting and/or road permit within the Haida Tenures.
