Awun Main - Road Closure at 13km

April 7, 2026: Awun Main Remains Closed at 13km Mark

Work to repair the slide at the 13 km mark on Awun Main is ongoing. Due to continued safety concerns and winter weather challenges, the road remains closed at this time.

Our crews have been monitoring conditions closely and will move forward with repairs as soon as we are able.

The Awun Main is closed at the 13km mark due to a slide. Our crews are actively working to clear the area and make necessary repairs.

Public safety is our top priority. We will provide updates via Taan’s Facebook and website announcing the reopening of the road just as soon as it is safe to do so.
