Notice of Road Closure - Vehicular Access to Dinan Bay

Please be advised of an upcoming road closure from McClinton Main at the junction of Bryce Main to Dinan Bay. Dinan Bay will be inaccessible to vehicular traffic effective January 15, 2026.

We understand this causes inconvenience for those who use the road and appreciate your patience and understanding.

For the foreseeable future, Taan Forest will not be conducting operations in this area. Without active hauling along this route, it is unfortunately not feasible to maintain the roadway.  

This decision is based on both operational realities and the need to prioritize resources responsibly. The closure is also necessary to protect public safety due to damage along the roadway, which currently poses a risk to travelers.

As a result, vehicular access to Dinan Bay will be unavailable starting January 15, 2026.
