Rennell Sound road closure
Please be advised that the Ministry of Forests’ Rennell Sound Forest Service Road is closed at the 1 km mark, effective immediately and until further notice.
This closure is necessary due to significant damage to major wooden box culverts along the road, posing a safety risk to road users. This closure prevents vehicular access to Rennell Sound.
